Well… this is a bit awkward.
It’s been a very long time since I posted anything on this page.
Some of you probably followed me years ago because of my hypnotherapy work, and then I promptly disappeared into the Facebook wilderness.
So, firstly
Hello again.
And secondly, things are going to be a little different around here.
After more than 20 years working with people, I’ve become increasingly fascinated by something much bigger than hypnotherapy:
Why do we so often know what we want to do, but still don’t do it?
We wait until we feel confident.
We wait until we’ve got more time.
We wait until we’ve got enough money.
We wait until life settles down.
We wait until we feel ready.
And sometimes years quietly disappear while we’re waiting.
I’ve done plenty of this myself.
But I’ve also discovered that some of the best things I’ve done in my life have happened when I’ve thought:
“Sod it. Let’s find out.”
So this page is changing.
Welcome to…
WHAT IF YOU DID?
A place about goals, courage, change, personal growth and actually doing some of the things we keep telling ourselves we’ll do one day.
There’ll be experiments.
Challenges.
Ideas.
A bit of psychology.
Things I’ve learned from more than two decades of working with people’s minds.
Things I’m still learning myself.
Probably the occasional ridiculous idea.
And definitely no pretending I’ve got life completely figured out.
Because I haven’t.
In fact, I’m currently putting myself through a 90-day challenge with a goal big enough that I genuinely don’t know whether I can achieve it.
And that’s rather the point.
I’m becoming increasingly interested in what happens when instead of asking:
“What if I fail?”
we start asking:
“What if I did?”
So if you’ve been here since the old days, thank you for sticking around.
And if this sounds like your sort of thing, come along for the ride.
But I want to start the new page with a question.
If you had the next 90 days to do ONE thing you’ve been putting off, dreaming about or telling yourself you’ll do “one day”… what would it be?
Big, small, sensible or completely ridiculous.
Tell me below.
I have a feeling this could get interesting. 😈
Stop waiting. Start finding out.
