I used to hate training my back.

I couldn’t feel it and constantly second-guessed whether I was doing it right.
-
So I spent 2020-2022 really fine-tuning my understanding of back biomechanics to improve my technique, experimented to find the right volume for me, and trained close to failure.
-
Now, it’s probably the best part of my physique and highly contributes to a masculine V-taper.

Last week I spent three days with the team, learning more about lower-body structural balance and the interplay between feet, ankles, knees, and hips.

I love opportunities like this.

Surrounded by like-minded colleagues and industry experts, I always come back with a renewed passion for my job.
-
Excitement, too, as I realise how much I don’t know – and therefore how much more I could learn.
-
And, last but not least, a brain full of new knowledge to continue improving my clients’ physique, health, and wellbeing.

Saying that, Luke told me I should work for Cirque du Soleil.

You can’t fully separate the lats from the upper back muscles, but you can use these cues to emphasise the lats. ⬆️
