Appointeeship Officer
📍 Location: Huyton
💼 Salary: £26,520.00 pro rata per annum
🕒 Contract: [Part-time 20 hrs pw/Permanent]

We’re looking for an Appointeeship Officer to help vulnerable adults manage their finances safely and independently.
What you’ll be doing
• Managing a caseload and handling day-to-day financial tasks
• Paying bills, setting up direct debits and monitoring accounts
• Keeping clear, accurate financial records
• Working closely with families, care providers and professionals
• Supporting people to understand their financial situation
• Ensuring safeguarding, GDPR and compliance standards are met
What we’re looking for
• Strong organisation and attention to detail
• Confidence working with numbers and financial processes
• Great communication skills and a calm, empathetic approach
• Experience in administration or finance
• Good IT skills (including Excel)
Good to have:
• Experience in social care, housing or working with vulnerable people
• Knowledge of benefits or DWP processes
• Experience managing money on behalf of others
