This is fibrotic tissue — a natural response to tissue trauma and healing after surgery, in this case after the liposuction.
As the body repairs itself, collagen is produced and, in some cases, this can develop into dense, fibrotic cord-like tissue.
The important part is understanding the tissue. Understanding the healing stage. And knowing which technique is appropriate for that stage.
Because post-op care isn’t about using more pressure. Fibrosis isn’t just something you ‘massage away’..
it’s about using the RIGHT technique at the RIGHT time.
