I DID IT. 🏅🇦🇺
From the UK to Australia… and from never having run a full marathon before, to crossing the finish line of the Sydney Marathon.
There were so many moments when I genuinely didn’t know if I could do it. The training, the distance, the doubts, the early mornings, the moments when 42.2km felt completely impossible.
I kept asking myself, “Can I really do this?”
And today, I have my answer.
YES. I COULD.
Running 42.2km was one of the hardest things I have ever asked my body and mind to do, but standing at that finish line, knowing I had travelled all the way from the UK to Australia to make this happen, was a feeling I will never forget.
I’m incredibly proud of myself. Not because it was easy, but because there were so many reasons to doubt myself… and I kept going anyway.
This marathon has reminded me that sometimes the biggest limitations are the ones we place on ourselves.
You don’t have to believe you can do something before you start. You just have to be brave enough to try.
Today, I crossed a finish line I once thought was impossible.
And I’ll never forget that feeling. ❤️
Sydney Marathon 2026 = DONE. 🇦🇺🏅
