Appointments:

Each morning, we offer open access and telephone triage appointments between 8:00am and 11:00am, or until we reach our daily capacity of 15 patients. Open access operates as a sit and wait clinic, meaning patients are seen in order of arrival or urgency; please note that our GPs begin consultations from around 9:00am, so waiting times can vary depending on demand. For telephone triage, patients can call the surgery between 8:00am and 11:00am to request a call back from a GP, who will assess your problem and advise on the next steps, which may include treatment advice, a prescription, or a face-to-face appointment if needed. Please note some problems can be safely assessed by phone, but others require a face‑to‑face appointment so the GP can examine you properly. Examples include:
Conditions needing physical examination – such as abdominal pain, joint or muscle problems, lumps, hernias, or breast concerns
Skin problems – rashes, moles, infections, ulcers, or wounds that need to be seen or examined closely
Chest symptoms – chest pain, shortness of breath, or palpitations
Ear, nose, throat and eye problems – ear pain or discharge, sore throats with concerning features, sinus pain, or eye redness and vision changes
Infections – where temperature, chest, urine testing, throat swabs, or examination is required
Neurological symptoms – weakness, numbness, severe headaches, dizziness, or balance problems
Our care navigators will ask you a series of questions to direct you to the most appropriate service
Afternoon appointments are available to book up to 6 weeks in advance these can be booked online or by calling the surgery
