A huge well done to our Foundation Trainee Pharmacists from (joined by a local trainee from ) on completing their clinical skills OSCE at our Aintree site last week.
This was a demanding assessment, designed to test ability to think and act like a clinical pharmacist at the bedside. Trainees were asked to bring together clinical history, observations, lab results and medicines knowledge under pressure.
These are the skills increasingly needed in modern pharmacy practice. As the role continues to evolve, confidence in clinical assessment, decision-making and diagnosis is becoming essential.
Every trainee passed their OSCE.
We are incredibly proud of the progress our Trainees are making and the clinicians they are becoming.
