Healing Space Liverpool

Healing Space Liverpool We provide complementary therapies, workshops, innovative conferences and creative community events to enhance health and wellbeing.

Maria and Eve established Healing Space as a social enterprise in order to extend access to complementary approaches to wellbeing to those who would be otherwise socially or economically excluded. We began as a grassroots response to issues within the community, and organised a number of health fairs and conferences. At incorporation, we concentrated on providing individual therapy sessions (aroma

therapy, reflexolopgy, Reiki, EFT, kinesiology). Over time we have responded to need, and developed workshops and courses to empower adults, children and young people. We deliver in schools, community centres, youth clubs, children's centres and our own premises. We have co-ordinated a number of innovative conferences and community gatherings, including 3 Kensington International Food Festivals, a Big Picnic in the Park, Winter Warmth Alerts, Community Growing Schemes, Healthy Eating workshops, etc.

I’ve been reflecting today on how much I’ve enjoyed sharing my experience and understanding of the Rites of Munay Ki.
And now I am curious. Has there been a particular Rite that called to you? If so, which? Please share in the comments ...

The Pi Stone in Munay-Ki

From time to time people ask about the Pi stone, because they notice it being used when the Rites of the Munay-Ki are passed on.

At first glance it looks very simple — a smooth, round stone with a hole in the centre. Yet within the Andean tradition, the Pi stone is understood as a symbolic portal.

The circular shape represents wholeness and the eternal cycles of life. The opening in the centre is sometimes described as a doorway — a reminder that we can step beyond ordinary time and access deeper wisdom when we enter sacred space.

When the Rites are transmitted, the Pi stone becomes a focus point for intention. It helps gather and direct energy as the practitioner traces pathways through the luminous energy field. In this way, it acts less like a tool and more like a bridge between worlds — between the visible and the unseen.

I often feel that the simplicity of the Pi stone reflects something important about this work. The most powerful spiritual practices are rarely complicated. They are quiet, respectful, and rooted in relationship with the sacred.

Fire Ceremony in Munay Ki.
Those who have been following these posts may have been wondering what happened to the promised Monday information about the importance of the Fire Ceremony. Life got in the way, as it sometimes does. But here I am to fulfill my promise. Hope you find this interesting.
One of the most beautiful aspects of the Munay-Ki path is the way fire is used as a companion to transformation.
In many shamanic traditions, fire is seen as a living teacher. It has the ability to transform what is offered to it — turning wood to ash, darkness to light, and endings into new beginnings.
When people receive the Rites of Munay-Ki, they are often encouraged to “feed the seeds” of the Rites with fire. This can be as simple as lighting a candle or sitting beside a small ceremonial fire with clear intention. Growing the energetic seeds takes time.
The fire becomes a place where we can offer what we are ready to release — old patterns, fears, or stories that no longer serve us — and invite clarity, wisdom, and courage in return.
What I love about fire ceremonies is that they are both deeply sacred and beautifully simple. There are no elaborate rules. Just a moment of presence, a willingness to let go, and the quiet understanding that transformation is part of life.
If you’re curious or feel a gentle pull, you’re very welcome to follow along as I continue sharing about this work.
Tomorrow I will write about the Pi stone, which will be gifted to each person attending the Retreat.

What are the Rites of Munay Ki? Day 9 - 🌿 The Creator (Spiritkeeper) Rite

The final Rite is sometimes called the Creator or Spiritkeeper Rite, and it feels less like an ending and more like a deep remembering.

This Rite was introduced for the first time as a human to human (rather than a Spirit to human) transmission in 2006. It connects us to the luminous field of creation itself. Rather than adding something new, it invites a sense of unity — a quiet knowing that we are already part of something vast and sacred.

Many people describe feeling a profound stillness after receiving it, as though the journey has come full circle.

If this feels meaningful to you, you’re not alone — many people begin their journey exactly this way.

What are the Rites of Munay Ki? 🌿 Day 8 — The Starkeeper’s Rite

The Starkeeper’s Rite anchors you into the time after the great change of the Inca prophecies, the unfolding future of humanity. It is often experienced as spacious and expansive — a reminder that change is not something to fear, but something we can grow into.

People sometimes describe feeling lighter or more open after this Rite, as though something old has been gently released.
There’s nothing you need to do to make this happen. The Rite simply invites you to trust the path you’re already walking.

If this resonates, feel free to share or simply hold it quietly for yourself.

What are the Rites of Munay-Ki? 🌿 Day 7 — The Earthkeeper’s Rite

The Earthkeeper’s Rite speaks to stewardship — not as a role or title, but as a way of being.

This Rite connects us to luminous guardians of the Earth and invites us to dream the world into being with greater awareness. Many people begin to feel a deeper responsibility toward the natural world after receiving it, not from guilt, but from love.

It’s a quiet shift from “What can I take?” to “How can I walk in right relationship?”

If this speaks to you, you might like to sit with that feeling and see what unfolds.

What are the Rites of Munay KI?
🌿 Day 6 — The Wisdomkeeper’s Rite
The Wisdomkeeper’s Rite is often described as stepping outside of time. It connects us to the lineage of ancient medicine keepers — those who held sacred teachings long before our modern world moved so quickly.
Receiving this Rite can feel expansive. There’s often a quiet sense of perspective, as though life’s challenges are being held within something much larger.
This Rite gently reminds us that wisdom isn’t something we collect — it’s something we embody through humility and lived experience.
If you’re curious or feel a gentle pull, you’re very welcome to follow along as I share the rest of the Rites.

🌿 Day 5 — The Daykeeper’s Rite

The Daykeeper’s Rite connects us to those who walk gently with the Earth — the wisdom keepers who honour cycles, seasons, and the sacredness of everyday life.

This Rite carries a strong feminine energy. It invites balance, compassion, and a deeper relationship with nature. Some people describe feeling more grounded after receiving it, as though their feet remember how to walk a little more softly on the land.

It isn’t about becoming someone special. It’s about remembering how to belong.

If this resonates, feel free to share or simply hold it quietly for yourself.
