From large-scale conferences to live events, these spaces can shift quickly in how they feel - especially when it comes to sound, lighting and crowd levels.

We’re working together to better understand those changes, and turn them into practical improvements that support more visitors. 🧡

Liverpool John Lennon Airport officially joins our First Seven - the first venues in the UK to collaborate with Sensified Spaces to offer clearer sensory support 🧡

Airports can be exciting places - but they can also be overwhelming. From noise and lighting to queues and constant movement, travel environments can feel intense, especially for neurodivergent travellers and those with sensory sensitivities.

Through this pilot, we’ll be working together to better understand how these environments feel from a sensory perspective - helping make existing support more visible, easier to access, and clearer for passengers who may need it.

By combining lived experience, community feedback and the airport’s existing support initiatives, this partnership will help shape clearer guidance for travellers - while generating meaningful insights to inform future improvements.

One Under UK is one of our First Seven - helping explore how sensory experiences are felt in indoor leisure spaces.

Indoor venues like mini golf are designed to be fun, immersive and energetic - which is exactly what makes them interesting to understand from a sensory perspective.

Through this partnership, we’ll be exploring how elements like sound, lighting and layout affect visitors with sensory sensitivities, while helping make existing support clearer for those who may otherwise avoid these kinds of environments.

As one of the most visited destinations in the city - open, expansive, and constantly moving - it’s an exciting space to explore how sensory experiences are felt across a large, open-air retail and leisure environment.

From quiet hours to on-site support, this partnership will help us surface real insight from visitors and build a clearer picture of how busy public spaces can feel more predictable and supportive.

As a unique community space rooted in history, inclusion and wellbeing, Strawberry Field represents so much more than a visitor destination.

Through this partnership, we’ll be gathering lived sensory insight - helping make existing support clearer for visitors, while giving the venue deeper understanding of how the space truly feels.

We’re also excited to shine a light on the incredible Steps at Strawberry Field programmes, that support and empower young adults facing barriers to employment, including those with learning difficulties and neurodivergent conditions, to gain paid work. That commitment to inclusion sits at the heart of why this partnership matters.

This is meaningful step toward clearer, more supportive sensory experiences.
