6 months into tattooing and I’m already proud of how far I’ve come.
The first photo was from 4 months ago, the second was yesterday. The difference might not seem huge to some people, but to me it shows what can happen in a short time when you really put your head down and focus on improving.
I started tattooing 6 months ago and became a junior artist after only 3 months. I’ve also already moved into my second studio, because the first apprenticeship just wasn’t the right fit. Sometimes you have to make those decisions if you want to grow.
What’s helped me the most:
• Listening to advice from people with more experience
• Watching other artists tattoo whenever I can
• Studying loads of videos and references
• Learning from every mistake
• And having a mentor worth looking up to
Still a long way to go, but I’m excited to keep improving every day. Thanks to everyone who has trusted me with their skin so far.
