Sometimes you can't see the way through when you're standing in the middle of it.
Yesterday I was looking down over this maze at Hampton Gardens and it got me thinking about life.
When you're actually inside a maze, all you can see is what's immediately in front of you.
Another hedge.
Another corner.
Another decision.
You can double back on yourself. Take the same path again. Get frustrated because you're absolutely certain you were just here five minutes ago. 😂
But look at it from above and suddenly there's a completely different perspective.
And isn't life a bit like that?
When we're deep in the middle of everything, work, family, responsibilities, worries, decisions, the endless noise in our heads, sometimes we really can't see the wood for the trees.
Our bodies can be carrying all of that too.
For me, one of the things conscious connected breathwork has given me is a way to step out of that noise for a while.
To stop trying to think my way out of everything.
To release some of what I've been carrying, give my nervous system some space, and come back to myself.
And sometimes, when the noise settles, things look different.
There's more room for clarity.
More room for peace.
More room for yourself.
More room for joy.
Maybe we don't always need to find our way out of the maze.
Sometimes we just need enough space to see where we are. 💜
