Warriors vs the World 🌍

11/10/2026

A special fixture:
Llanelli Warriors (women) vs Mixed Ability Rugby Invitational Club
Parc Y Scarlets
October 24th
Llanelli Warriors host the MARI club - an invitational side selected from the world of mixed ability rugby.
The MARI have 2 unique aspects that separate it from other invitational teams - players are picked on what they bring overall to the sport (not just rugby ability) and can only play once.
Fixtures are arranged to celebrate mixed ability rugby achievements
This selection will bring together 7 nationalities to play the Warriors
The game marks the start of the MARI’s 5th anniversary and celebrates 30 years of Llanelli Warriors, the Warriors club winning the Ability Rugby International championship, the women playing their 1st full season last year, going unbeaten and them being the highest ranked ARI women’s team.
The links between the two clubs are unique- the concept conceived by Warriors coaches Jamie and Gwilym, whilst on tour in Samoa.
We are very proud to welcome them to West Wales - true rugby heartland for what is a rematch of the 1st ever MARI game when the men’s’ teams faced each other in Cardiff.
This is going to be a great game and a great occasion.
Please come along to help us croeso the MARIs to west Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
