Last week we celebrated world pharmacist day and here in Llangollen we are blessed with the best pharmacist ever, our lovely Umer!
I’m sure you all know by now how amazing he is but I’d love it if you would all like this post to show some appreciation for all the hard work he does!
He trained many years to become a pharmacist before taking on more training to be an independent prescriber, at the same time he was training me and my other colleagues to allow us to gain qualifications!! All of this whilst providing the best care to all of you!

Last week was not the best week with missed and delayed deliveries, it was a lot of playing catch up and hard work but I am so proud of my team for how hard they worked!!
We are finally up to date and back on track🥰
I want to thank you all for your patience last week, it was a really difficult week for us all so thank you!

Good morning everyone! Update on our delivery, I’ve had a call to say it’s coming today! It will be drop 11 so we’re expecting it this afternoon. I have been told there’s 70 totes on the van so we have a lot go through and there’s only 3 members of staff one being a new starter so please be patient with us and wait for a text to say your medication is ready, we won’t be able to search through totes to find bags and things may be delayed, this includes answering phone calls, owing prescriptions etc but we appreciate your patience.

UPDATE- Our delivery never arrived! We are unsure when this will turn up now, I’m so sorry I can’t give you all a rough idea of when things will be ready. Prescriptions will be ready as soon as possible but please if you can, wait for a text. We will have alot to catch up on. Thank you for your patience💙💙

Hello! Unfortunately our delivery hasn’t turned up for the day yet, I’m currently waiting on a call back from the depot with an update of an expected time but if you can wait until tomorrow for your prescriptions that would be amazing.
Thank you so much and I apologise for any inconvenience caused! As soon as I have an update I will edit this post💙💙
