This , we're recognising that living with an inflammatory condition isn't just about managing inflammation.

For many men, it's about finding ways to keep doing the things that matter, whether that's staying active, balancing work and family life, maintaining relationships, or looking after your mental wellbeing when symptoms don't go to plan.

Living with inflammatory bowel disease or inflammatory arthritis can affect every part of life, not just what happens in the clinic.

At Ampersand Health, we believe support should reflect that. That's why our apps are designed to help people better understand their condition, recognise changes, build healthy habits, and access trusted support for the whole person—not just the condition.

This Men's Health Week, here's to recognising every aspect of living well. 💙

Appointments often focus on symptoms, test results, medications, and disease activity. While these are important, living with a chronic inflammatory condition is about much more than managing inflammation.

Many of the biggest challenges can happen outside the clinic room, affecting relationships, family life, work, confidence, mental wellbeing, physical activity, future plans, and the things that matter most to us.

This week, our free, online peer support groups will be exploring these wider aspects of living with arthritis, Crohn's disease, and ulcerative colitis. Together, we'll create space for conversations that don't always fit into a medical appointment, while connecting with others who understand the realities of living with these conditions.

Whether you'd like to share your experiences, hear how others navigate similar challenges, pick up practical ideas, or simply listen, you're very welcome to join us.

💜 Tuesday 9 June – Joint Conversations (Arthritis)
💜 Wednesday 10 June – Gut Feelings (Crohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis)

This , we’re reflecting on the power of shared experiences, supportive conversations, and reminding people that they don’t have to navigate things alone.

During recent peer support conversations, members of our Ampersand community shared some of the small but meaningful things that help them protect their mental wellbeing while living with chronic inflammatory conditions; from taking things one day at a time, to letting go of guilt around needing rest, focusing on small wins, and staying connected to people who understand.

At Ampersand, listening to the lived experiences of our community shapes everything we build. From emotional wellbeing and symptom tracking to peer support and self-management tools, our apps are designed around the real challenges people face while living with inflammatory bowel disease, arthritis, and dermatological conditions, supporting the whole person, not just the condition.

If you’re looking for support, connection, or tools to help you better understand your condition and wellbeing, our personalised apps are here to support you. 💜
