Donโ€™t miss out on the opportunity to submit your work for the BTS/A+LUK/BALR lecture awards. These two lecture awards were created to recognise the achievements of mid-career respiratory researchers from any profession (clinical and non-clinical), who have a track record in respiratory.

Winners will be invited to attend the 2026 Winter Meeting, where they will give a prestigious lecture and be presented with an award at the QEII in London in November.

Here at BTS we prioritise supporting the continued education of all our members and the wider healthcare community through the provision of short courses and webinars.

Our Fundamentals of Pulmonary Rehabilitation course is designed to develop a foundation of understanding of this exercise and education programme. The course has been created in line with national standards, including the BTS Clinical Statement on Pulmonary Rehabilitation.

This 2-part course is designed to provide a basic knowledge check and to develop your understanding of the evidence, principles and application of Pulmonary Rehabilitation.

We have published a new Quality Standard, which establishes a benchmark for pleural disease patient care.

Built on the BTS Guideline for Pleural Disease, this Quality Standard aims to improve the standards of care for adults with pleural disease.

The Quality Standard covers the fundamentals of delivering care, and features statements which can be used to ensure the safety and suitability of patient services, alongside information on how to measure progress i.e. quality measures.
