To all of my missing members ❤️ and Potential new members!

Some of you have fallen by the wayside for various reasons and that’s absolutely okay. The time has to be right for any of us to try and lose weight.

This photo came up recently as a memory. It was taken at my son’s 18th birthday party, and it reminded me just how far I’ve come. Sometimes I forget. Sometimes I forget that although I’m not perfect, I’m a much improved version of the person I used to be.

It has taken me around 30 years to get to this stage. Sometimes I feel sad that I spent so many of my younger years overweight and unhappy. However, at nearly 59, I’m finally in my happy place.

Of course, I still slip up sometimes and put a little weight back on, but I’ve never gone back to where I was before.

The reason I’m reaching out today is because if any of you feel that this journey is too tough, or that you just can’t do it, I want to remind you that you absolutely can.

The door to Slimming World is always open.
