What if creative programmes felt more like creative studios?

London Makers: Course 1 is an 8-week designer-led programme exploring leatherworking, product design, and creative enterprise through the creation of an original collection of bags and accessories.

Delivered with London-based designer , participants will experiment with materials, specialist studio techniques, creative trips, and collaborative making - with selected outcomes potentially showcased or sold through future London Makers collections.

    •    Wednesdays, 17 June – 5 August
    •    4:30pm–6:30pm
    •    HF Mencap, Hammersmith & Fulham
    •    Free to join
    •    10 spaces available

At first glance, they look like rocks 🦭

A recent MyLife Short Break to Norfolk included boat trips, seaside views, and the chance to spot around 300 seals along the coastline, creating plenty of memorable moments along the way.

HF Mencap’s MyLife Short Breaks give adults with learning disabilities and autism the opportunity to relax, explore new places, build confidence, and enjoy time away with others in a supportive environment.

We’re already looking ahead to upcoming 2026 trips, including Norfolk, Butlins, the Cotswolds and Centre Parcs.

London Makers is OPEN for expressions of interest.

A few creative enterprise programme for people with learning disabilities and autism.

Got ideas? Drawings? Characters? Designs? Things you want to make?

London Makers helps you turn original ideas into real products, with support from artists, designers and makers based in London.

You’ll try new creative processes, develop your own work and create something ready to be seen.

Our first course starts this June.

Dates, details and our first artist collaboration will be announced soon, but you can register your interest now.

Our short breaks are a fantastic opportunity for everyone to have fun, relax, and try something new!

✅We aim to make our trips inclusive for all, ensuring that everyone feels welcome and can take part in the activities.

For bookings, prices, and more information, please email the MyLife team at [email protected] or call 020 8748 5168.

As you know, all trips must be booked in advance and require a deposit to secure your place. Deposits are non-refundable.

Additionally, the short break trips are subject to a minimum of 10 confirmed bookings.

We’d like to suggest booking early to avoid disappointment.
