Two weeks ago, World Champion visited us for a ferritin check after experiencing ongoing fatigue and lower energy levels than usual. Her results revealed that she was critically iron deficient.

Iron deficiency is the most common nutritional deficiency in women, affecting up to 1 in 3 women of reproductive age worldwide. Despite being so common, it often goes undiagnosed, with symptoms such as fatigue, reduced energy, brain fog, poor exercise performance, dizziness, headaches and hair loss frequently being overlooked.

We were so pleased to be able to treat Ruqsana with an IV iron infusion to replenish her iron stores and support her recovery. She’ll be returning in three months for a repeat ferritin check, and we’ll be sharing updates on her progress and journey.
