Throwback to the site tour of Lister Hospital's new state-of-the-art Hybrid Vascular Theatre.👏 In March, members of the hospital team were able to see the progress of internal fit-out works, which continues to move at pace.

The new theatre will enable the hospital to become a specialist vascular surgery hub for the region, ensuring round-the-clock access to the early diagnostics, decision-making expertise and emergency procedures necessary for the successful treatment of vascular conditions.

It was an incredible feat achieved, and will hugely benefit both patient and staff experience .👏

Health Spaces is honoured to have been involved in the journey of this new hospital build. Collaborating with the teams at Barts Health NHS Trust, from design to delivery, the 14-bed intensive care unit (ICU) and 26-bed respiratory ward are now open to patients.

A busy intensive care unit has been moved from one part of an east London hospital to another.

🎥Did you spot Newham Hospital in the BBC News last week?

We are thrilled to see the opening of the two new wards at Newham Hospital: a 14-bedded intensive care unit (ICU) and a 26-bedded respiratory ward.

Combined, they will add 10% to the hospital’s footprint and provide the flexibility needed to adapt to and meet the needs of the local, growing population, improve patient care and give patients and staff a better experience.
