Curious what to prepare for in your past life regression? Read on to find out!

1) Seeing people you recognise.

It is quite common to see people you recognise in your regression. This can be a partner, family members, friends, or even pets! Souls usually reincarnate in groups, so it’s not uncommon to find that you’ve met people you know in a previous lifetime!

2) Seeing your death.

Seeing your death in a past life is an important part of a regression, as it can teach you a lot about that life. Don’t worry though, seeing it won’t harm you, and if it gets too much your therapist can always take you to the moments after death, when everything is calm and serene.

3) Seeing another planet.

Now bear with me here, this may seem outlandish, but it’s actually not uncommon to see lives on other planets! If this is too much for you to believe, then remember that sometimes our past life memories are metaphorical rather than literal, so it may simply be representing a memory rather than being an actual memory.

What past life regression is (and isn’t):

1) Regression is not time travel.

Whilst you are viewing the past whilst being regressed, you cannot change what happened. All you can change is your view of it, and how it affects you now.

2) It is sometimes metaphorical.

Most of the time you will experience a largely accurate depiction of your past life, but this is not always the case. Sometimes, a past life will reveal itself to you in the form of metaphors. If this is the case for you, your hypnotherapist can help you interpret these metaphors.

3) It is verifiable.

A common misconception is that past life regression is completely unverifiable. Whilst it is true that often times it is hard to find records of specific past lives, it is not true that they are unverifiable. Many past life memories have been verified and some people have even met people who knew their past life selves! James Leininger’s story is one of my personal favourites, but there are many more out there which we will be covering in our blog, once it is launched.
