A little note about fine line cover-ups 🤍
As much as I’d love to be able to cover every existing tattoo using fine line techniques, unfortunately, it isn’t always possible.

When covering old or heavier ink, we often need to work with more ink density and layering to
effectively disguise what’s underneath.

So, if you’re looking to cover an existing tattoo with particularly thick or dark lines, a delicate fine line cover-up may simply not be achievable 🙈
If I do feel confident that I can create a beautiful result, the design process can be a little more involved. In many cases, I’ll need to freehand elements of the design directly onto the skin on the day, rather than relying solely on a pre-drawn stencil.

Because of the additional design time, planning and skill involved, cover-up tattoos can also cost more than a standard tattoo.

Ultimately, I’ll always be completely honest about what I think will work — because my priority is creating a beautiful tattoo that will heal beautifully, rather than taking on a cover-up that I don’t believe will give you the result you’re hoping for. 🤗
