We work to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities through a three pronged approach: research, wheelchair distribution and rehabilitation. We believe that this model tackles the issue from all angles, allowing us to find both short and long term solutions to finding a cure for paralysis.

We believe in equipping families with practical skills and knowledge to create sustainable, lasting change.

For many families in developing countries, access to essentials isn’t guaranteed. At our Kenya Centre, our team produces reusable diapers and sanitary pads, distributing them to beneficiaries.

We also deliver workshops for mothers and caregivers, teaching them how to make their own reusable products at home.

By sharing skills and resources, we aim to create long-term, community-led support that promotes dignity, health, and greater independence 💙

What does a wheelchair really change? ♿️

It means getting to school instead of staying at home.
It means being able to work and support your family.
It means being able to leave the house independently.

For many people we support, this is the difference a wheelchair makes every single day.

With just £25 a month, you can provide a life-changing wheelchair to someone in need within a year.

Meet Jeremy from Haiti 🇭🇹

Before his stroke in 2014, Jeremy worked as a tailor, using his skills to support himself and his family.

After losing the ability to walk, Jeremy relied on a wheelchair to move around independently. But when his wheelchair broke, he spent years without one, mostly confined to his home and depending on his son for daily tasks.

Thanks to Free Wheelchair Mission, Hope Health Action and Walkabout Foundation, Jeremy recently received a custom-fitted wheelchair, carefully adjusted to meet his needs, along with training on how to use and care for it safely ♿️

Now, Jeremy is looking forward to moving around independently again, doing simple things for himself, and returning to church – something he has deeply missed.

A container of wheelchairs represents much more than mobility.

It represents possibility. Freedom. Opportunity. Independence.

The opportunity for a child to go to school.
The chance for a parent or caregiver to return to work.
To move through the world with dignity.
To be part of the community.

This is why we believe that ♿️

Accessibility isn’t just about ramps or buildings.

It’s about being able to leave the house independently, go to school, get to work, visit family or friends and take part in everyday life.

For many people with mobility disabilities, that access still doesn’t exist.

This , we’re reminded that accessibility is about dignity, freedom and independence, and everyone deserves that opportunity 💙
