The BKMA's first fundraising charity dinner & Eid Milan on 27th April was a huge success.
Our deepest gratitude & many thanks to our Guest of Honour Dr Altaf Hussain who took us through his inspiring journey from Kashmir to the UK and his remarkable contribution to surgical fields & then politics.
Our guest speaker Dr Asif Hasan’s enchanting talk touching upon team work being the most important ingredient of any successful treatment.
Our fantastic host for the evening Rizwan Hussain helped us surpass all expectations & made the fundraiser a phenomenal success!
Our Trustee Mr Gulzar M***i summed up the night with a vote of thanks & how ‘the first brick in any project is most crucial’ and the lasting impact of the legacy of British missionaries & doctors who served in Kashmir.
A superb evening of & from our members & wider community for the betterment of healthcare services for the vulnerable & unprivileged back home.
