Plantar fasciitis, why have I got it? And why is it so painful first thing in the morning? And what to do to get it better? These are some of the questions we get in clinic. And the answer is, everyone is different and there are different reasons for getting this heel pain. The most important question is how to get better. We provide treatment plan. Heel pain can be caused by several different tissues. The most commonly seen by us is plantar fasciitis of course. We also see a lot of what’s called tarsal tunnel syndrome, an ankle nerve entrapment. Pain can come on in the morning first thing, but often not so much.
