The most rewarding part of my work is helping clients navigate complex health challenges like chronic fatigue. The scale is moving, but what are you actually losing? 📉

When weight comes off quickly, especially during medical weight loss, it’s very common to lose some muscle mass along with fat.

Why should you care?
Think of muscle as your body’s "metabolic engine." It burns calories even when you’re resting. If you lose too much muscle, your metabolism slows down, making it much harder to maintain your results long-term because your body simply burns fewer calories.

Here are my two non-negotiables for protecting your progress:

✔️ Adequate protein intake

✔️ Regular movement, especially resistance-based exercise

The goal: you aren’t just losing weight, you’re protecting your metabolism for the future.

Noticing your hair feeling thinner lately — especially around your parting or crown?

If you’re in perimenopause or menopause, you’re not imagining it.

As oestrogen declines, the hair growth cycle shifts, meaning more shedding can happen at once. But hormones aren’t the whole story.

From a nutrition point of view, I often see:
🥚 Low protein intake
🥬 Low iron levels
🐟 Low omega-3s
😵‍💫 High stress levels
⚖️ Blood sugar imbalance

🍫 Easter chocolate… with a magnesium twist!

Magnesium powers 300+ reactions in the body, yet many of us get less than we need because modern soils aren’t as mineral-rich.

Fun fact: darker chocolate usually has more magnesium thanks to cocoa solids—but higher cocoa = a bit more caffeine, so enjoy mindfully.
