Two years ago, Marina Mems created this tattoo on beautifully melanated skin.
Today we added more to the story.

Working on darker skin tones is not “more difficult” — it’s different.
It requires understanding how pigment interacts with melanin, how contrast behaves, how healing may slightly shift visibility, and how to design with intention.

Not every artist is trained or experienced in this.
And that matters.
