We are PUTTING RESOLUTIONS IN THE BIN 🗑. They feel too much like wishing - and we hardly ever achieve them all. ⁣

The alternative we’re using: AFFIRMATIONS.⁣
⁣
To illustrate, a classic resolution we often see/hear: "I will hit the gym x4 a week to be super fit this summer." ⁣
⁣
You are (most likely) not.⁣
⁣
Let’s try this instead: "I’ve established an exercise routine I can stick to and I’m feeling the benefits on a daily basis."⁣
⁣
Notice two main differences: ⁣
⁣
1. Verb tense⁣
2. Specificity ⁣
⁣
Let's also set the scene: ⁣
"My name is ______, it’s December 2023, and I’ve had an amazing year. These are the reasons why: [list them all]" ⁣
⁣
Finally, a few rules we stick to:⁣
⁣
✍ Write them down⁣
⁣
🔊 Say them out loud⁣
⁣
🧠 Believe they will happen⁣
⁣
🙌🏼 Express gratitude when they do⁣
⁣
