All week, through Have You Heard?, we’ve been starting conversations about ear and hearing health and the reality of hearing loss.

Together with our partners and practitioner network, we’re encouraging people across the UK and beyond to take that first step towards getting their ears and hearing health checked.

Hearing loss affects millions of people, yet it’s often overlooked or accepted as something to “put up with”. The truth is, early action can make a real difference - to communication, confidence and overall wellbeing.

As World Hearing Day approaches, it’s a reminder of our mission at TympaHealth: to help make professional ear and hearing health more accessible.

It helps amplify that message, but the conversation doesn’t end there. Join us in raising awareness and prioritising ear and hearing health, not just on one day, but every day.

Through Have You Heard?, we’ve been opening up more honest conversations about the reality of hearing loss.

Alongside our partners and practitioners, we’re encouraging people not to wait and to take that first step towards getting their ear and hearing health checked.

The need is growing. By 2030, adult-onset hearing loss is expected to be one of the top ten disease burdens in the UK. But behind every statistic are real people, families and everyday moments that matter.

With World Hearing Day approaching, it’s a reminder of why making ear and hearing health easier to access matters so much.

If it’s been a while since you thought about your hearing, maybe this is your sign to start.

We’re attending 100% Optical, 28 February – 2 March at Excel London. Find us at Stand J09.

Could ear and hearing health add more value to your optical business?

If you’re already seeing patients one-to-one, introducing an ear and hearing health service could be a natural extension. It creates an additional revenue stream, strengthens patient loyalty, and enhances the service offering you already provide.

More optical businesses are recognising the opportunity to broaden their clinical services, and 100% Optical is the perfect place for forward-thinking conversations about what’s next in patient care and business growth.

If you’re attending, come and see us at Stand J09. We’ll show you just how seamlessly ear and hearing health can fit into your existing practice.

Untreated hearing loss is the number one modifiable risk factor for dementia, something many people are still unaware of.

When hearing starts to change, it’s easy to brush it off or “just get on with it”. But over time, it can affect how we connect, communicate and feel in everyday moments. The reassuring part? Many hearing concerns can be managed when they’re picked up early.

As we mark World Hearing Day, it’s a chance to pause and remember that looking after our ear and hearing health is part of looking after ourselves.

Through Have You Heard?, we’re simply encouraging more open conversations and earlier checks in communities everywhere.

Because small steps today can make a big difference tomorrow.

Have you heard?

20% of the global population lives with undiagnosed hearing loss.

That’s millions of people who may be waiting too long for support.

World Hearing Day matters because it shines a light on a health issue that doesn’t receive the attention it deserves.

For us, it’s a reminder that real change doesn’t happen alone. Together with our partners and global practitioner network, we’re working to remove barriers, improve access, and bring ear and hearing health closer to the communities who need it.

Because hearing health shouldn’t be overlooked and it shouldn’t be delayed.

World Hearing Day (3rd March), led by the World Health Organization, is a global moment to raise awareness of the importance of ear and hearing health and the need for better access to care.

At TympaHealth, this is something that is close to our hearts.

Ear and hearing health remains one of the most overlooked areas of healthcare. Yet 1 in 3 people in the UK will experience hearing loss and many delay seeking help due to limited access, long waits, or simply not knowing where to turn.

In the lead-up to World Hearing Day, we’re collaborating with our global practitioner network and partners to share stories, raise awareness, and encourage early action through our Have You Heard? campaign.

We were proud to have our CEO, Krishan Ramdoo, attend an important roundtable hosted by Care England and Engage in association with Totaljobs focused on improving hearing healthcare in care homes.

The discussion highlighted a critical gap in care: too many people entering care homes do not receive the hearing support they need, despite hearing health being essential to communication, dignity, and wellbeing.

Bringing together leaders from across audiology, social care, academia, and government, the session focused on practical actions to help shape future policy and commissioning.

At Tympa Health, we see firsthand how technology-enabled ear and hearing care can help close this gap, and it was encouraging to be part of such a vital conversation.

Thank you to everyone involved for driving this important work forward.

It was great for us to spend time at Hull York Medical School, supporting a Clinical Support session for 1st and 2nd year medical students.

During the hands-on workshops, we demonstrated how Tympa Health can support clinicians in delivering effective ear and hearing care in community settings, improving access for patients. We also shared how community-based ENT and audiology care can help reduce waiting times and make ear and hearing care more accessible.

Always encouraging to connect with the next generation of clinicians and explore how technology can help improve access to ear and hearing care.

We’re proud to share that we’re now ISO 27001:2022 certified.

ISO 27001 gives our customers proof, not promises, independently verifying that we protect patient and clinical data to the highest international security standard, with audited controls, clear accountability, and continuous risk management.

In a healthcare environment where trust and data protection are non-negotiable, this certification gives customers confidence they’re choosing a partner built for secure, long-term clinical delivery.

Huge thanks to the team who made this possible.
