Gorgeous afternoon/ early evening spent among the sculptures of Henry Moore and the beautiful creations of nature .

This is my favourite way to experience sculpture. I get quickly overwhelmed inside galleries and close down to the works after a frustratingly short time.

Outside, with natural light, fresh air and earth beneath my feet my senses stay open and engaged, my mind curious, my heart open.

Visiting at the end of the day gifted me the opportunity to see the softening light play on the sculptures and to hear the birdsong announce the evening approaching.

I left feeling joyful, nourished on many levels and appreciative of this wonderful city and all it has to offer.

For those of you who know… spot my Dad in the mix 😉

I don’t often post a pic of myself and my intention today was to share an image of the plant that stopped me in my tracks on my way to work this morning (a regular occurrence for me!).
While taking the picture my camera somehow flipped and took a selfie. As I’m consciously following synchronicities and saying yes to nudges I guess this was the picture to share!

Sometimes a tree calls you from across a field and you just have to go connect with it.

What a beauty. What wisdom.

Then I had the pleasure of meeting the farmer and his collies. He, and his father before him spent their boyhood playing on her hollow. Apparently a cow once got her head stuck in it.

They say she’s probably 500 years old so i bet she’s seen even stranger things.

He said if only trees could talk…
I said I believe they can. We just don’t always know how to listen.
