Meet Raven, Amy Woodgate House adorable new mascot! 🐶💜

Raven has been busy settling into her new home, getting to know our lovely residents, enjoying cuddles and having a good nose around. She has even been helping with the Halloween decorations! 🎃👻

When she’s not busy saying hello, you’ll find her chilling out in the activities office and learning the ropes. We think Raven is going to be a very special addition to our home, and we can’t wait for all the cuddles and lovely moments ahead! 🐾

We had a lovely visit at Amy Woodgate House from Councillor Brian Austen, who joined us to meet our lovely residents and team and have a look around our home 💜

Brian, who teaches biomedical science students and medical students at City St George’s, University of London about Alzheimer’s, took the time to chat with our residents and get to know everyone. He also joined us in our coffee and tea area for a cuppa and a slice of cake, which gave us all a chance to sit down and enjoy a good chat together ☕🍰

Thank you, Brian, for spending the afternoon with us. It was a pleasure to welcome you, and both our residents and team really enjoyed your visit! 💜

🎶 We had a lovely afternoon at Amy Woodgate House with a visit from Emily for some chair based exercises!

Our wonderful residents and team joined in together, moving along to the music and enjoying the chance to get active from their chairs. It was lovely to see everyone having a go and getting into the session.

A big thank you to Emily for bringing such an enjoyable activity to our home. We’re already looking forward to the next one! 💜😊

We came together at Amy Woodgate House for a special Breast Cancer Awareness event, with our lovely residents, families and team sharing an afternoon together to show our support and help raise awareness 🎀

There were plenty of delicious cakes, cups of tea and coffee, and lots of time to chat and enjoy each other’s company. It was lovely to see so many people getting involved and supporting such an important cause.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make the afternoon so special💗

As part of World Alzheimer's Month, we spent some lovely time together at Amy Woodgate House with a cup of tea or coffee, a slice of cake and a crossword to get stuck into ☕🍰

We had two very special birthdays to celebrate at Amy Woodgate House this weekend! 🎂💜

Family and friends joined us to sing Happy Birthday, share cards and gifts, and enjoy a lovely cup of tea and a slice of birthday cake made by our chef. There were plenty of happy moments as everyone sat together, held hands and enjoyed each other’s company.

It was a really lovely way to celebrate two wonderful ladies and make their birthdays feel extra special 💜

We enjoyed a lovely afternoon here at Amy Woodgate House celebrating the Macmillan Coffee Morning ☕

Residents and staff came together to enjoy a wonderful selection of cakes, along with plenty of tea and coffee. There was a warm, relaxed feel throughout the afternoon, with lots of conversation and time spent together.

It was a meaningful way to raise awareness and show our support for Macmillan Cancer Support , while sharing some really nice moments as a home. A big thank you to everyone who helped make it so special and to those who joined us 💜
