We are now taking bookings for next week onwards. We've put a few extra measures in place and we're confident that we can carry out appointments safely while adhering to Covid-19 regulations.

We are now taking bookings for the end of January onwards.
Get in touch by emailing us at [email protected] or giving us a call on 07309 258272. We’re a small team and are sometimes unable to answer the phone straight away but please leave a message and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can!
If you’re emailing us with a tattoo enquiry, please tell us the size and placement and include some reference pictures if you can. The more information we have, the sooner we can get you booked in.

Since we began Dear Watson, part of our ethos is to be as inclusive and supportive as we can of the LGBTQ+ community. We pride ourselves on being a queer-friendly space and are vocal in supporting trans rights.
Mermaids is a charity that supports children, young people and their families to achieve a happier life in the face of great adversity. They work to raise awareness about gender nonconformity, campaigning for the recognition of gender dysphoria in young people and calling for improvements in professional services.

Thank you all for coming and supporting our little venture! The party was a resounding success and it was so amazing and humbling to see the place filled with the loveliest people.

First of all - thank you so much for sticking with us. There have been a few speed bumps and slight delays but today we have some good news - the funds from Indiegogo have been released and now we can really start to get going!
The building work is so very nearly done and the studio is looking great. We are calling the council this week to arrange an inspection and will hopefully be ready to open sometime towards the end of the year if all goes to plan, fingers crossed 🤞
Now that the building work is out of the way we can focus on sending out the rewards for our backers - so if you’ve helped bring Dear Watson to life then you can expect some exciting stuff sometime soon!
We’re also planning our launch party for Wednesday December 11th, so save the date and keep an eye out for updates! It would be great to celebrate with you and we’re really looking forward to it.

Today we've been emailing those of you who have chosen any of our tattoo bundles, so we can start working on your designs. If you're one of those lovely people, keep an eye on your inbox.

If you picked a commissioned artwork bundle, you should have received an email in the last week. Can't see an email? Check your junk folder. It's definitely not junk, we promise.

We've also been working hard on getting the rest of the perks ready for you, art prints, stickers and temporary tattoos are all in the works!

We're so looking forward to seeing you all, can't wait to hear your tattoo ideas.

Thank you so much to all our Indiegogo backers, thanks to your generosity we have exceeded our target and Dear Watson is fully funded! We have now secured the space, moved in and started the process of tiling, varnishing and sealing all the floors and surfaces to bring them up to code. With the extra funds from the last few backers we’ve been able to afford a nicer sink unit and cover rent during renovations so big thanks to everyone!

We are currently waiting for the funds from Indiegogo to be released, meaning there is a slight delay but progress is still steady. While we wait, we have been working on the prints and thank you cards for you all, which should be sent out in the next few weeks.

Launch party plans are also in the works! It looks like we’ll be launching next month, we can’t wait to see you all there and thank you personally.
