**This might be difficult to hear...** 🤍
What if part of you is holding on to your current weight for a reason?
Not consciously.
Nobody chooses to struggle.
But sometimes our minds develop patterns that feel protective.
For some women, carrying extra weight can become associated with feeling:
• safer
• less vulnerable
• less visible
• protected from rejection or judgement
• protected from disappointment
Not because the weight is the solution.
But because the brain learns to associate it with safety.
This isn't true for everyone.
But if it resonates with you, it's worth exploring with curiosity rather than judgement.
Ask yourself this:
**If I woke up tomorrow at my healthiest weight...**
What would be different?
What would I have to face?
What would I no longer be able to hide behind?
What would feel exciting...
And what would feel uncomfortable?
Sometimes the biggest barriers to change aren't on your plate.
They're in the stories you've been carrying for years.
Lasting weight loss isn't just about changing your body.
It's about feeling safe enough to become the woman you're capable of being.
And that journey starts with awareness, not criticism.
Comment **CURIOUS** if this gave you something to think about. 💛👇
