💉 Corticosteroid vs Hyaluronic Acid Injections

Different injections. Different benefits.
Personalised, evidence-informed care at VAST Physio

✔️ Corticosteroid injections may help reduce inflammation and pain, often providing quicker short-term symptom relief.

✔️ Hyaluronic acid injections aim to improve joint lubrication and movement and may help some people with osteoarthritis-related stiffness and discomfort.

There is no “one size fits all” approach. The most appropriate treatment depends on:
🔹 Your symptoms
🔹 Your diagnosis
🔹 Your goals
🔹 Previous treatments
🔹 Overall health and medical history

At VAST Physio, every injection is preceded by a detailed assessment and combined with the right rehabilitation plan to support long-term recovery and function.

Front knee pain (patellofemoral pain) is one of the most common knee issues we see especially with stairs, squats, running or prolonged sitting.

The good news?
Pain around the kneecap does not always mean damage, and in many cases the right rehab approach can help significantly.

At Vast Physio we provide:
✅Expert assessment
✅Personalised rehab plans
✅Manual therapy & taping
✅Injection therapy (when appropriate)
✅Load management & return-to-sport guidance

Our goal is simple:
Less pain. Better function. More confidence. 💪

The aim is not endless rest — it’s the right load, at the right time.

Back pain can feel worrying, especially when scan results show “changes” such as disc bulges or degeneration.

But here’s the important part: scan findings don’t always match pain levels. Many age-related changes are common, even in people who have no pain at all.

At Vast Physio, we help you understand your symptoms, identify what is contributing to your pain, and build a personalised plan to help you move better and feel more confident.

We can support you with:

🔹Manual therapy
🔹Acupuncture
🔹Personalised exercise programmes
🔹Education and self-management advice

Evidence-based care. Tailored to you.

Wondering how your body is recovering after pregnancy and birth?

A Mummy MOT is a specialist postnatal assessment with a women’s health physio. It can help with pelvic floor issues, tummy gap, back or hip discomfort, and returning to exercise safely.

Whether you’re newly postpartum or months down the line, you do not have to just put up with it.
