I’ll be sharing some reflections on the unknown -
Noticing all the efforts I put towards planning and organising, mitigating risks, paying attention to the micro-detail, and the satisfaction I often get from feeling ‘on top on things.’
What is the motivation here? There is a sense of ease, a perceived sense of safety in having things ‘under control’ and yet control is a fallacy.
We fall, wildly, since taking our very first breath. We fall into the embrace of wild things.
The wild experience of being can be intense, frightening even and so we learn to ‘control’.
Those insidious emotions…So we are not too exposed.
We do not step outside of the role we are told we are here to play.
In fact, we forget how to play.
We do not venture on the wild side.
What does it mean to be with the unknown?
To Be-Wild. Bewildered perhaps?
To jump in the dark?
To trust life a little more?
