Nothing extreme. Just what actually works—and what they can stick to.

1. Walking daily
This is your baseline. It keeps you moving, supports fat loss, helps with energy and appetite, and doesn’t add stress to your body. Most aim for consistent daily steps rather than relying on intense cardio.

2. Eating enough protein
Every meal is built around it. It supports muscle, keeps you fuller for longer, and helps reduce mindless snacking. It also becomes even more important as we get older if we want to maintain strength and shape.

3. Getting stronger
This is non-negotiable. Strength training helps maintain muscle, supports metabolism, and keeps you feeling capable and resilient. It’s not about doing more—it’s about progressing over time.

When we actually started hitting our protein target — everything changed.

Not new workouts.
