You do not have to choose between caring for others and continuing to grow yourself. 💛

The beautiful truth is that two things can coexist:
🥰You can be a devoted parent carer and still pursue your own growth.
❤️You can carry responsibility and still carry hope.
🥰You can care deeply for someone else and still care for yourself.

Never stop becoming the best version of who God created you to be.

Because your life matters too. 🌿

For too long, many parent carers have carried their struggles in silence.

We learned to be strong.
We learned to cope.
We learned to keep going, even when our hearts were tired.

But silence has a cost.

It hides the realities we face.
It makes our journeys invisible.
And it keeps others from understanding the support families like ours truly need.

So this Carers Week, I want to say this:

You are not invisible.
You have simply been underestimated.

Your voice matters.
Your experience matters.
Your story matters.

Perhaps it is time to stop whispering and start speaking.

Not because we want sympathy.
But because understanding begins when we are brave enough to be seen.

💛 SEE ME.
💛 UNDERSTAND ME.
💛 STAND WITH ME.

Welcome to Parent Carer Week. 💛

For many of us, being a parent carer is more than a role, it is a journey of love, resilience, advocacy, and strength. But we are more than carers.

We are individuals with dreams, voices, talents, and stories that deserve to be heard.

This week, I want to encourage every parent carer to speak up. Share your experiences. Tell your story. Ask for support. Advocate for change. When we make our voices heard, we help build communities that are more understanding, inclusive, and supportive for everyone.

You do not have to walk this journey alone.

Let this be the week we move from being unseen to being understood.

💛 SEE ME.
💛 UNDERSTAND ME.
💛 STAND WITH ME.

If you are a parent carer, I'd love to hear from you. What is one thing you wish more people understood about your journey?

The most beautiful things in life are not places.

They are people.

The people who stay.
The people who make us laugh when life feels heavy.
The people who hold our hands through seasons we never expected.
The people who become home.

Years from now, we may not remember every destination we visited or every possession we owned.

But we will remember the laughter.
The conversations.
The hugs.
The moments that made us feel seen, loved, and understood.

For many parent carers, life can become consumed by appointments, responsibilities, and simply getting through the day.

But even in the middle of it all, there are still beautiful moments waiting to be noticed.

☺️A smile.
😂A shared joke.
🎊A small victory.
🕊️A memory being made.

Because at the end of the day, what truly matters is not where we were...

It's who we shared the journey with. 💛

She's so amazing 😍

How we dance when it's 5 days to week.

It's time to 🤗

SEE HER.
UNDERSTAND HER.
STAND WITH HER.

Some battles are invisible.
Some strength goes unnoticed.

Today, let’s lift up every parent carer carrying heavy hearts, silent exhaustion, and responsibilities most people never see. 💛

Please say a word of prayer for them in the comments. 🙏

Every child has their own rhythm.
Their own joy.
Their own little thing that makes their world come alive 💛

This little boy’s excitement every morning is beautiful to watch… and even the bus driver has learned to step into his world with joy. Thank you for sharing this joy with us 🙏❤️

And honestly?
That’s something many parent carers understand deeply.

Sometimes connection doesn’t look “typical.”
Sometimes it’s a song on repeat.
A routine.
A phrase.
A sound.
A moment that makes your child feel safe, seen, and happy.

For Abigail, it was:
🎵 “He’s got the whole world in His hands…”

Without it playing in the morning, she wouldn’t even open her eyes.
Every new school had to learn it too 😊

Parent carers…
find what makes your child light up.
Find what calms them.
What connects with them.
What makes them feel secure in a world that may not always understand them.

And then teach the world around them how to meet your child there.

Because every child is uniquely made.
And there is something beautiful about yours worth celebrating 💛
