Here are some reason you should not get pierced with a piercing gun! Needles are far safer and hollow which means they create a hole to make room for jewellery (and swelling) whereas piercing guns force a blunt object through your skin meaning during healing or scarring you will feel a little bump and takes much longer than piercing with a needle, you will generally find that this piercing never fully heals or gets infected often.
