✨ May Theme: 空 (Kū) ✨
Creating space to practise the power of presence 🌿

As May begins, we’re focusing on 空,
the idea of space, openness, and letting things be as they are.

Today is Kodomo no Hi, Children’s Day in Japan 🎏
a day to celebrate children’s happiness, growth, and well-being.

Children often remind us of presence in its simplest form:
curiosity, openness, and noticing the small things. 🌱

Mindfulness doesn’t have to be complicated.
It can begin with one breath, one pause, or one quiet moment in the day. 🌬️

This month, may we create more space,
for ourselves and for those we care for. 🤍

As April comes to a close and spring continues to unfold around us, we’re gently reflecting on this month’s focus: kotodama — the quiet power held within the words we choose. 💬⚡️

The way we speak, even to ourselves, shapes how we move through each day.
Small words, simple phrases, soft reminders. ✨

It doesn’t have to be perfect or profound.
Even something as simple as
“I’m doing my best today” or
“I can take this one step at a time” 🤍

Spring reminds us that change happens gradually. 🌱
In the same way, the words we repeat can slowly take root. 🌱

As the season continues, perhaps take a moment to notice what you’re telling yourself. 🌸

Words hold power, so choose words that feel a little kinder, a little softer. 🍃

To begin to sprout 🌱
To quietly come into being 🌿

Used to describe the moment when something new starts to grow 🌸
not fully visible yet, but gently emerging 🌼

In spring, it reflects the first signs of life in nature 🌷🌿
In us, it can be a feeling, a shift, or something taking shape 🤍
before we fully understand it ✨

In Japanese, you might hear expressions like
「自覚が芽生えた」 or 「気持ちが芽生える」 🌸
which go beyond something literal —
they describe a feeling, awareness, or intention
that has softly begun within 🌱💫

A reminder that not everything needs to be fully formed to begin 🌱🌼

✨響 (Embodiment)✨

As March comes to a close and spring begins to emerge, with longer days and new buds forming, we’re grounding ourselves into ‘embodiment’. 🌿🌸

Being present doesn’t have to be complicated.
It can be as simple as pausing, taking a breath, and noticing how you feel. 🌬️

Even in a busy day, there is space to check in.
Release tension, soften the body, and come back to the moment. 🧘🏻‍♀️

Spring is a gentle reset.
You don’t need to rush, just move with it, one step at a time. 🌱☀️

🌿 What is your Ikigai?

Is it something grand and clearly defined?
Or does it live quietly in the way you notice a new corner, pause for a sunset, or feel the shift of seasons in the air?
🌬️
Sometimes Ikigai isn’t a title or a destination.
It’s the way you pay attention.

The first buds of spring. 🌸
Seasonal flavours returning to your table. 🍱
An unexpected event that sparks something within you. ⚡️

Perhaps purpose isn’t something we pursue relentlessly.
Perhaps it’s what we turn toward when we’re seeking value, steadiness, or quiet joy.

As February draws to a close, may you notice what feels alive for you right now. 🌅

What is your Ikigai — in this season of your life?
