As part of the Islander Festival, hum is bringing movement to the waterfront with a free mat Pilates session at Orchard Dock.

Start your day at 7am with the calm of the water beside you, fresh air, gentle movement and a chance to wake up the body in the most nourishing way. Expect mindful Pilates designed to awaken and energise the body creating space to move, breathe and ease into the day together.

Join us on our annual Italian Wellness Retreat, an unhurried week on the Tuscany/ Umbria border, of connection, movement, nourishment and deep rest, the kind of quiet that only the Italian countryside can offer.

Villa Pia is known for its outstanding hospitality and exceptional traditional Italian cuisine, lovingly prepared by the most wonderful women chefs using local, seasonal produce.
Days begin with sunrise swims and slow, spacious mornings. Afternoons soften into rest, stillness, and connection, before unfolding into alfresco candlelit dinners and sunset aperitivi overlooking the endless rolling hills in the foothills of Umbria.
A week of reconnecting — to yourself, to movement, to nature, and to what you need most. Everything is optional. Nothing is rushed. You are invited to take what you need, and leave the rest.

Mental Health Awareness Week starts tomorrow, but caring for our mental wellbeing is something we believe belongs in every week of the year.

At hum, movement, rest, connection and conversation have always been at the heart of what we do. We know that yoga and meditation aren't a solution to life's challenges, but creating space to breathe, slow down, feel supported and be together can make a real difference.

Throughout this week, we'll be offering a series of free yoga and meditation sessions, mindful moments and small acts of care for our community, simply as an invitation to pause and check in with yourself and each other.
Because we understand mental health isn't just a campaign or a hashtag. It's the quiet conversations, the courage to ask for help, the moments of rest, the feeling of being seen, and the reminder that none of us are meant to do life alone.

Whether you join us on the mat, or simply take five minutes for yourself this week we hope you find a little space to breathe

A little taste of weekends with us.

We’re so lucky to be guided by some seriously incredible guides at hum this weekend, each bringing their own energy, depth and magic to the room.

Friday evening, join resident movement artist for a soulful, inspiring practice that feels equal parts grounding and magical. His sessions invite you to move, breathe and reconnect in a way that stays with you long after class ends.

Saturdays from the English National Ballet leads our reformer pilates sessions. Grace, precision and strength woven into every movement, such a special opportunity to learn from someone with such an extraordinary background.

Then we slow it all down with our traditional 2hour Ashtanga practice with
Rooted in lineage, discipline and breath, Ashtanga is a moving meditation, a rare chance to experience yoga in its most authentic form.

And Sunday… is bringing the energy to reformer. Expect feel-good movement, good vibes and the kind of reformer session everyone talks about afterwards. Her classes fill for a reason.
