If increasing your fibre intake has left you feeling MORE bloated in perimenopause, your gut microbiome probably deserves some attention too.

As explains, fibre feeds the bacteria living in your gut.

But during perimenopause, changing oestrogen levels can affect the microbiome - including the estrobolome involved in oestrogen metabolism.

So alongside gradually building towards more plant variety through vegetables, fruit, pulses, whole grains, nuts and seeds, targeted probiotic support can give your gut something extra.

Better Gut contains six targeted bacterial strains and 50 billion CFUs, specifically formulated to support the gut-hormone connection during perimenopause and menopause.

Think more diverse plants, better-supported gut bacteria and fewer days spent wondering why your stomach suddenly feels uncomfortable after foods you’ve eaten for years.

What if we stopped treating perimenopause as something women simply have to endure?

and challenge that just because it’s a natural stage of life, we should somehow accept feeling less well in perimenopause.

You could spend decades of your life post-menopause, so protecting your long-term health matters, and so does your quality of life today.

That means taking your energy seriously, your confidence, your libido, your motivation and your desire to go out, connect, enjoy yourself and feel excited about your life.

You deserve a midlife that feels full, vibrant and very much yours.

What does “thriving” through perimenopause look like to you?

31/08/2026

Ever had a full night’s sleep and woken up wondering whether any of it actually counted?

We feel like every single woman in perimenopause is absolutely nodding their head right now.

And we feel like this because perimenopause can affect the quality and continuity of your sleep - so spending eight hours in bed doesn’t necessarily mean you’re getting the restorative rest your body needs.

That can look like lighter sleep, frequent waking or mornings where you feel so foggy and immediately start thinking about how many coffees is ‘too many’.

The goal though is to wake up feeling restored and ready for your day - rather than wondering how many hours it is until you can crawl back into bed.

We call it “fake sleep”” - and if you know exactly what we mean by this, let us know in the comments.

If perimenopause has turned bedtime into prime overthinking time, another cup of sleep tea probably isn’t the groundbreaking advice you came here for.

Try these instead ⬇️

🔹 Eat for tonight’s sleep this morning.

If you’re surviving on coffee, eating lightly through the day and arriving at dinner ravenous, look at your daytime eating pattern. Start with a protein-rich breakfast and build balanced meals around protein, fibre and healthy fats to support steadier blood sugar and energy.

🔹 Do a 10-minute “”brain download”” before your wind-down starts.

Write down what needs doing tomorrow, choose the three things that actually matter and get anything you’re scared of forgetting out of your head.

You’re giving your brain somewhere to store tomorrow so it doesn’t have to rehearse it at 3am.

🔹 If you’re lying there getting increasingly annoyed that you’re STILL awake, get out of bed.

Keep the lights low, leave your phone alone and do something quiet until you feel sleepy again.

This helps break the association between your bed and hours spent worrying, clock-watching and desperately trying to force yourself back to sleep.

Perimenopause sleep can need more support than “”have a bath and relax””.

Save these for the next night your body is exhausted but your brain has other plans.

If your response to stubborn midlife weight has been to eat less, train harder and become even stricter wants you to reconsider what your body actually needs.

Because spending your 40s permanently hungry, exhausted and frustrated by your waistline isn’t the outcome you’re working so hard for is it?

What you might not realise is that stress, blood sugar and metabolic health can all influence how your body manages energy during perimenopause.

Supporting those areas can help create a much more sustainable approach to weight management - and a much less frustrating one too.

Better Metabolism contains ingredients such as berberine, chromium and myo-inositol to support normal blood glucose levels and metabolic function, giving your body targeted support alongside the healthy habits you’re already building.

When women tell us they feel less bloated, are sleeping better, have more energy and finally feel more like themselves again... We pay attention.

Because perimenopause can leave you spending months trying to tackle every symptom separately, but these Better Gut customers took a different approach: supporting the gut-hormone connection as part of their wider perimenopause care.

Better Gut was created specifically for women in perimenopause and menopause, with six targeted probiotic strains and 50 billion CFUs per capsule. And as these women share, the changes they personally noticed went far beyond digestion.

Less time feeling heavy and uncomfortable, more energy for everyday life, better nights, calmer moods and that feeling of actually enjoying midlife again.

If you’re ready to make your gut health a priority, comment Better Gut and we’ll send you everything you need to know.

Summer should be about making memories, not worrying whether your clothes still feel comfortable by lunchtime, not planning your day around bloating and not wondering why you’re doing everything “”right”” but still feeling stuck.

As explains, perimenopause changes the way your body manages blood sugar, stores fat, and uses energy. That’s why the habits that worked years ago can suddenly stop giving you the same results.

Supporting your metabolism doesn’t mean eating less or exercising harder, it’s about working with your body through the hormonal changes it’s experiencing.

That’s why Better Metabolism was created. Pair it with Better Gut to support the gut-hormone connection, reduce bloating, and help you feel lighter, more energised, and more confident this summer.

If you’re ready to enjoy summer instead of feeling held back by your symptoms, comment Better Metabolism below and we’ll send you everything you need to know.

put it perfectly, perimenopause can feel like you’ve fallen off a cliff.

One minute you’re getting on with life, and the next you’re wondering why you’re waking at 3am, feeling exhausted, struggling with brain fog, noticing weight changes and dealing with aching joints that weren’t there before.

When all of those things happen at once, it’s easy to think your body has let you down, but it hasn’t.

Your body is just adapting to one of the biggest hormonal transitions of your life, and understanding what’s happening is often the first step towards feeling better.

There isn’t one magic solution, but there are ways to support yourself that can make this chapter feel much more manageable.

We’re curious, what was the very first change that made you think, “”Something feels different””?

Share your experience in the comments. You never know who you’ll help feel less alone.

Kinda chic to reach midlife and realise your spark is still very much there.

Perimenopause can leave you feeling flatter, less confident and less connected to the things that used to excite you.

Your libido can change too, and we’re talking about more than s*x, that sense of desire, vitality and enthusiasm for life can feel different.

Finding your spark again can look like feeling good in your body, wanting to make plans, reconnecting with intimacy or simply catching yourself thinking, “There I am.”

Menopause gets to have plenty of pleasure in it.
What makes you feel most like yourself again?
