Sunday is the day that makes me think of my mother the most.
The food, the get-togethers, the chats, the coffee (after the Prosecco, of course 😉).
Such a wholesome day to spend with her.
Even when she used to come and visit me in London with my youngest just over two months old, she brought that same warmth and energy with her.
Somehow, whenever she was around, it always felt like Sunday.
I love that we get to give back to mothers on such a beautiful day. It means a lot.
And now, as a mum myself, I make sure I take some time for me before I pull together a whole Sunday lunch for my kids.
It’s my favourite part of the weekend. Daddy takes them to football, I go and work out, and I come back feeling better, stronger, and full of energy.
When you’re a mum, whatever you do is never just for you anymore. And on a deeper level, even the things you do for yourself affect them too. They see you smile, they feel your energy, and they notice the strength you radiate.
What better day to celebrate that than Sunday 🤍
