Perfect way to start the week ahead.

Yin held within a space grounded in Classical Chinese Medicine, this Yin workshop offers a slower approach to movement, allowing the body time to release and reorganise.

Guided by a medical doctor (specalising in women’s and mental health), Stanford Wong, postures are held for longer durations to gently encourage the flow of Qi, supporting areas where energy may feel stuck or depleted. With a focus on the pelvis and lower back, this practice helps ease physical tension while promoting a calmer, more regulated state. Suitable for all levels, including beginners, this is an opportunity to pause, reconnect, and support your body’s natural flow.

We are thrilled to be supporting the opening of , founded by Conny and Zarig Cooper, offering degree-level training in Chinese Medicine grounded in the classical and tangible tradition whilst adapted to modern clinical practice in the UK.

Miller’s Way Project will be hosting elements of the training, with Chloe and Steve also contributing through teaching and mentorship across the programme.

The college is part of the wider ATS (Association for Traditional Studies) family, founded by Andrew Nugent-Head, one of the most respected Western teachers and practitioners of Classical Chinese Medicine. Andrew .clinic spent almost three decades in China studying directly under traditionally trained doctors educated before the Cultural Revolution, helping preserve and pass on approaches to medicine that may otherwise have been lost.

Andrew’s teaching and clinical philosophy have had a profound influence on many of the practitioners within the Miller’s Way community. Much of the way we think about physiology, structure, movement, observation, touch, breath, and the interconnected nature of the body has been deeply shaped by this lineage and approach to medicine.

What excites us particularly about Roots & Branch is its emphasis on tangible, clinically grounded learning. The college aims to develop skilled and thoughtful practitioners through close teaching, rigorous training, and a deep understanding of both the “root” and “branch” of disease: not only how symptoms present, but where they originate from within the wider system.

We are incredibly proud to be supporting Conny and Zarig in carrying this work forward and helping cultivate the next generation of practitioners.

Join our warm and welcoming team 🤗

If you are an independent practitioner with your own client base and are looking for a new, supportive space, Miller’s Way would love to hear from you.

You would be joining an established, collaborative team who manage their own patients while working closely together. Referrals are made thoughtfully where it supports patient needs, for example between our acupuncturists and massage therapists.

We are ideally looking for practitioners seeking a regular, contracted arrangement rather than ad hoc bookings, with consistent weekly hours.

We are working to bring back our weekly movement class for older adults at Miller’s Way, following a successful run last year.

Before we can relaunch, we are seeking council funding to ensure the class remains free for those who need it most. While we await the funding decision, we’re gathering a list of people who would like to attend if it goes ahead.

The class will be taught by Ben Medder, a highly experienced movement coach who specialises in supporting older adults to:
• Build functional strength
• Improve balance and mobility
• Reduce stiffness and pain
• Increase confidence around falling
• Develop the skills to fall safely, should it happen

This gentle, practical class is designed to help older adults move more comfortably in everyday life and feel more confident in their bodies.

This class is intended for older adults who would not ordinarily be able to afford our sessions.
Spaces will be limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis once funding is confirmed.

Please drop us a DM with your email if you or a parent/ friend would like to join

We’ll contact you directly when the class is ready to launch.

Please feel free to forward this to anyone who might benefit.
