Also it’s good practice to research the piercing as-well and ASK QUESTIONS! Don’t be afraid to ask your piercer anything they should be happy to show you and walk through processes with you, jewellery types etc and be extremely transparent about the procedure.

Surface piercings are not easy to heal and often reject. However proper jewellery really does make a massive difference. This bent bar was never going to allow for a long lifespan for this piercing its fighting against the skin rather than sinking and sitting just under the surface.
Unfortunately this piercing was migrating and rejecting, this lovely lady popped by just to get help removing as it was sore to touch and the balls we’re on so tight that she physically couldn’t get them off.

Thankyou for allowing me to take some photos for an educational post. I won’t name and shame the studio but this isn’t the first time I’ve pulled out something like this.

Ear lobes are generally one of the easiest heals, though I do tend to find the 3rd/4th holes can be a little more problematic healing than the 1st and 2nds

Ear lobes take up to 6 months to heal which is still faster than the majority of piercings. Like all piercings you need to avoid swimming for 4weeks minimum to help avoid infections.

Generally a 2/10 pain wise so a super easy fun addition.

I cannot stress how important it is to downsize your piercings.

A huge part of my job involves troubleshooting piercing bumps, the usual culprits are moisture build up or missed changedown appointments.

My lovely client reached out beginning of last week saying they had a bump and their piercing was sore. The first picture is from Friday. You can see the bar length is huge now the swelling has subsided, the movement has caused a bump. Often when piercings feel sore the obvious thought it I better not book in for my downsize, however it’s the opposite you should always book in. I always give the best advice in person and can help save your piercings.

The second photo is just a few days later. The bump has dramatically subsided. I can’t wait to see it in a week for a follow up check up to see the progress.

Moral of the story….. book your downsize, i write a rough date on the base of your aftercare forms if you need a hand.

It’s not often I get a set of dahlias in! Over the moon and extremely happy with the outcome. I’m actually proud of myself for one remember to take pics and two actually taking decent pictures for a change. Im often unhappy with the photos I take so they don’t always make it to the feed.

Keeping it simple with plain implant grade titanium. You don’t have to go for fancy jewellery when you get pierced you can just keep it classic.

This light peony opal didn’t even make it into the cabinet.
It was snapped up instantly as my client fell in love with it as soon as I posted these.

It definitely looks great sitting pretty in her daith.

I’ve got a few more rings from Tremun Piercing in stock and available on the website. I’m only fitting these in healed piercings as they have a smaller diameter.
They look best in daiths and septums.

I’m guesting in Tunbridge wells end of this month. With 💀JOSH HOBDEN TATTOO and his team for their flash day.
