Low carb vegetables are great and is the secret to loose weight! 👉 By filling up your stomach with them you get low calorie content and lot of phytonutrients and fiber! ⭐️Fiber bulks up your stool and support elimination but also feeds the good bacteria in your gut, the ones that produce serotonin!
⭐️ You can fill up 3/4 of your plate with low carb veggies plus 1/4 of a good quality protein source, good fats such as olive oil and avocado and you have a super filling and nutritious dish in front of you!
⭐️ Low carb veggies are tomatoes, lettuce , cabbage, spinach and greens in general, carrots, peppers, onions, asparagus, beetroot, aubergine, cucumber, cauliflower, broccoli, mushrooms, green beans, peas, zucchini, celery.

Summer is all about simple flavours, fresh ingredients and nutrient rich foods! The tomatoes are red and the olive oil abundant! The more colours the better! 🍅🥕🫑🍠🥒
👉 vegetables are great but don't forget your protein! Hummus or tinned beans and other legumes are a great addition to your meal!

this video we recreated one of the local dishes of the island (Samothrace, Greece) 'Fasolia Tsigariasta' or 'Fried Beans'.
As you can see we used lots of olive oil (in the restaurants they use even more than that) but olive oil is abundant here and its so good!!
Hope you enjoyed the video as much as I enjoyed making it!
