Congratulations to Stacey, who is celebrating 15 fantastic years with Barchester Healthcare.

Starting as a Nurse at The Dales Care Home in 2011, Stacey worked her way up to Deputy Manager, then General Manager and Senior General Manager at Threshfield Court Care Home. Now, she has now been promoted to Acting Regional Director for the York area.

Going the Extra Mile 💒

Three incredible team members from Hafan-Y-Coed Care Home, Sarah, General Manager, Vicky, Senior Nurse and Marie, Lead Activities Coordinator, went the extra mile to help their resident Diane attend her son’s wedding in Manchester.

Setting off at 6am, they travelled nearly 500 miles in a single day to make sure Diane could celebrate with her family. Along the way, they even arrange a special visit for her to see her father, whom she had not seen for some time.

Diane got to see her son marry, they all got a memory they will carry forever, and Sarah, Vicky and Marie all quietly proved what extraordinary care can look like when people go the extra mile, literally 💙
