It is a Supermoon, sitting in exact conjunction with Pluto while Jupiter forms its once-a-year cazimi with the Sun in Leo, all on the same day.
And this is the last Full Moon we have before eclipse season takes over in August. Work with this one consciously.

The Buck Moon carries the medicine of the deer who sheds his antlers every year without resistance, trusting that what grows back will be stronger.

Most of us who abandon themselves in love don’t know that’s what they’re doing.

We think we are being loving, supportive, easy to be with.

But what looks like love from the outside
is often survival from the inside. A pattern that began long before any relationship.

In the moments a child learned
which version of herself was safe enough to be loved.

That child grew up. But the pattern didn’t.
And until we understand where it began —
we will keep calling survival love. And wondering why we feel so lost inside it.

This is the work. There is nothing to fix, but remember and transmute 
Remembering the person underneath the survival.

We rarely choose these disguises consciously. We inherit them and we learn them. We practise them until they become so familiar that we mistake them for our personality.

That’s why awareness isn’t about judging the woman you’ve become.
It’s about understanding why she had to become her. Because every disguise once served a purpose.

It protected you.
It helped you belong. It helped you survive.
And perhaps that’s where compassion begins.

Not by asking,
“What’s wrong with me?”
But by gently wondering,
“What was I trying to protect?”
