Trekstock Cancer Support

Trekstock Cancer Support We are the go-to place for trusted exercise and mental wellbeing support for people in their 20s, 30s, and 40s living with and beyond cancer. Charity No 1132421

Trekstock is a youth cancer charity. In the UK, over 140,000 people are living with the effects of cancer. We aim to support them through and beyond treatment. We work closely with the young adults we support to ensure that regardless of where they are in their own cancer journey, Trekstock can offer relevant physical, emotional and practical support.

Join us for an afternoon of creativity and community, getting hands-on at a welcoming neon painting workshop, hosted by Carolina, our Trekstock Ambassador 🎨

You'll leave with something you've made yourself, as well as a feeling of calm and achievement, and maybe even a new group of friends who just get it.

Come on your own or bring a buddy - this workshop is open to anyone in their 20s, 30s or 40s living with or beyond cancer; whether you're mid-treatment, in recovery, or navigating life after a diagnosis.

Feeling alone during cancer treatment makes what's already a difficult time even harder – that's why finding a community of people who get it can make such a huge difference.

Our Meet & Move events help younger people living with and beyond cancer to connect with others who share the same experience – and they're also a great reason to get out and about and take part in some gentle movement.

Head to the link in our bio to see all our exciting upcoming Meet & Move events.

Bank holiday plans? We're keeping it simple: rest properly, eat well, and get outside for some fresh air.

Taking care of yourself doesn't have to be about doing more – sometimes it's just taking that extra day of weekend and using it to rest and recharge.

However you spend your long weekend, make sure you plan in some quality time for yourself.

If you're experiencing cancer in your 20s, 30s or 40s, head to our website for advice about movement, nutrition and wellness:

We asked our community to describe their Meet & Move experience in three words, and the answers speak for themselves ✨️

This is why our wellbeing events are so popular – they're a space for mindfulness and a moment to pause, delivered alongside a community that gets it.

We'd like to say a huge thank you to Georgie & Peter Lynn for funding this Meet & Move in memory of their son, Alastair.

In the UK, 99 people in their 20s, 30s and 40s are diagnosed with cancer every day. Cancer can be isolating at any age, but when life should be about fun, friends, careers and looking forwards to the future, it can be a real shock.

That's why it's so important to have a community of people who understand what you're going through.

No matter what stage you're at – whether you're newly diagnosed, mid-treatment, years on, or somewhere else, you don't have to go through cancer alone. That's what we're here for.

A cancer diagnosis comes with a lot to deal with; appointments, information and decisions, with a huge amount of noise about what you "can" or "can't" do.

Food's just another layer of this, and it can be overwhelming trying to work out how to nourish your body at a time when it's already under considerable stress.

That's why we created our Food + Cancer Guide. It's a one-stop-shop that removes the guesswork, giving you grounded, clear info, as well as some delicious, nutritional recipes – one less thing to navigate on your own.

You can find our Food + Cancer Guide at the link below:

Our award-winning exercise programme has shown, time and time again, that movement can change lives. Getting back into movement after a cancer diagnosis can ease treatment side effects, improve your mood, help you sleep better and rebuild your confidence and self-esteem.

We know that getting moving again after a cancer diagnosis isn't linear, but so many members of our community have told us they've found strength and resilience along the way, as well as a newfound appreciation for what their bodies can do.

If you're looking for support with getting back into movement, head to the link below to find out about the amazing programmes and resources we have on offer 💛
