Hello everyone. 🤍
For some time now, I’ve been reflecting quite a lot on the impact mental health has on our society. Not only on those living with mental health challenges, but also on the parents, siblings, partners, friends and carers whose stories are so often left untold.
I’ve realised that while there are many conversations about mental health, too many people still feel unseen, unheard and alone.
That has led me to begin creating something called The Quiet Room Project.
This isn’t a charity, at least not yet, and it isn’t just another mental health page.
It’s a vision for a community!
A place where people are listened to without judgement, where stories are shared with dignity, where knowledge replaces stigma, and where compassion becomes action.
Before I build anything, I want to listen.
If you’ve experienced mental health challenges, supported someone who has, work in mental health, or have been affected in any way, I would be honoured to hear your story and your thoughts
There is absolutely no pressure to share publicly. If you’d prefer to speak privately, my inbox is always open. Nothing will ever be shared without your permission.
I’m not looking for followers.
I’m looking for people who believe that change begins when we truly listen to one another.
I’m looking for people who want to help build something that lasts.
This isn’t about creating another campaign.
It’s about creating a community!
One where no one feels invisible.
One where every story matters.
One where every person is seen before their diagnosis.
I’m committed to this for the long term because I truly believe that together, we can change the way mental health is understood—not through louder voices, but through deeper conversations.
If this speaks to you, I’d love for you to be part of the beginning.
We need to take a stand.
Thank you for reading. 🤍
