This patient came to us with an anterior open bite, which is where the upper and lower front teeth don’t meet when the back teeth are together. Through carefully planned Invisalign treatment, Jeet Parekh was able to improve the bite. When a fixed retainer goes wrong, the consequences can be serious. This patient, Cenayda, came to us after her lower retainer (placed elsewhere) began to unravel, pulling the roots of her teeth out of the bone.

Although we sadly couldn’t save one tooth, who has extensive experience managing complex cases like this, used fixed braces to move the remaining roots back into place.

With ongoing care and monitoring, her teeth are now stable and doing well. 😄

One of the biggest myths about orthodontics is that fixed braces always take years, but that’s not always the case.

With the right treatment and a growing patient, we were able to achieve these results in only 6 months using fixed braces. Every case is unique, and treatment time depends on many factors, but sometimes, results can come much quicker than expected!
