LASAG Trustee and retired asbestos specialist judge Dr Victoria McCloud a former King’s Bench Master of the High Court was awarded Lifetime Achievement Award by Modern Law at a gala event sponsored by Clio legal software.

Victoria had a distinguished judicial career spanning nearly two decades. Post-semi-retirement in 2024, she remains active in Asbestos justice as a Trustee of LASAG. She works in areas such mediation, human rights, AI in legal tech and outcome prediction, and global privacy law.
In addition to her legal history in asbestos work she is recognised for her LGBTQ advocacy and has been featured in various prestigious media outlets. In 2025 she was listed No. 1 in the Independent Pride List.
She continues to contribute to legal discourse and practice across multiple domains. She is a legal consultant at W-Legal, London and an associate Tenant at Gatehouse Chambers. She originally trained as a scientist in human vision research."
